Professional Home Inspection

Your local ASHI chapter includes the best professional home inspectors from across Southwestern Idaho. We work together to continually "raise the bar" with respect to the quality of home inspections. We are part of the oldest national society of professional home inspectors, which has defined the standards of care for this industry since 1976.

We share our collective experience and training in order to provide a more consistently positive service to the real estate community.

Realtors® and prospective homebuyers, alike, can expect a higher level of performance and a more satisfying inspection experience when choosing an ASHI inspector.

HERE'S WHY: ASHI Full-member Inspectors have...

  • Passed the NHIE (National Home Inspection Examination) developed by the EBPHI (Examination Board of Professional Home Inspectors). This rigorous exam is used by a number of states in their certification and licensing programs-not just by ASHI, alone.
  • Passed the ASHI Standards and Ethics examination. Our inspectors are held to this important set of business practices to best protect the public's interest.
  • Published a minimum of 250 fee-paid inspection reports that have been reviewed to verify their conformance with ASHI's Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics.
  • Participated in mandatory continuing education on an annual basis. If any inspector fails to accomplish at least 20 credits per year, his or her membership status is pulled.
